Job Description

As a Financial Analyst, you will assess financial data, build advanced Excel models, manage reconciliations, and support budgeting and forecasting activities. You’ll help interpret business trends, resolve discrepancies, and deliver insights that guide key financial decisions across the organization.

Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (approx. Colombian time), Weekends Off

The Qualifications We Seek

Experience:

  • Financial analysis: 5 years (Required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is a plus
  • Proven work experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
  • Experience performing moderately complex analyses and creating Excel models
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and complex formulas
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Prior experience in public or corporate accounting preferred
  • Experience in a self-funded Third-Party Administrator (TPA) finance function is highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to work during normal business hours on Eastern Time Zone

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Your Daily Tasks

  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to create, maintain, and analyze complex spreadsheets and financial data
  • Generate reports that support management decision-making
  • Analyze and interpret moderately complex financial information
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Conduct routine reconciliation and analysis of third-party data and reporting
  • Resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Apply independent judgment to identify trends, variances, and issues
  • Provide recommendations for adjustments and process enhancements
